Kia EV6 Review 2022 - (A Quick Review)

New Kia EV6: The Best Electric Car In The World!

The latest tech, long range and head-turning looks make the EV6 one of the best electric car in the 2022 to look outfor.

Design

It is really a striking car. I really like the full length of the light bar looks especially cool when your turn the lights on. There is kind of elements of the Aston astomating dbx about it that's no bad thing, is it?  I love the swooping roofline of this car. It's got like a cab forward design but it looks very sporty and beefy at the front I thinks its a great looking car especially in the paint scheme around the front. There are a few fake vents but really that's very little to complain about. Its a good looking car.

I love the interior design of this Kia EV6 it's really nice. The texture effect on the dash and the different lines and the lighting. The screens they actually have coating on them which helps prevent glare so you can see on them even in direct sunlight. I love the look of the center console. It does wobble a bit but the shinny bits on it really nice. I like the fact that you got a gear selector as a rotator rather than a gear lever like you get in some of their EVS which is just pointless. Steering wheel's cool it's a really nice design. The seats are lovely as well. It's all very good actually tech that's excellent as well so it's got Kia's latest infotainment system infoaitnment system, it's responsive enough the graphics are fine, it's apple carplay anroid auto now if you want to use the climate control they are touch sensitive buttons which aren't quite easy use when you're driving. There's actual physical buttons that move but it's not to difficult and you can do the temperature using a rotary knob and you can toggle between shortcuts for the infotainment system and you've got these buttons on the steering wheel as well. It feels roomy as well because there's a load of space just where you can like store things down also there you've got charging port USB and USBC. You have got cup holders of different decks. The Kia EV6 feels nice and spacious in the back seats and you've got more interior space and because it's an electric car the batteries are underneath the floor which means you get a completely flat forward because unlike in a internal combustion engine car there's not like space. The disadvantage of having batteries underneath floor does mean that much of a distance between the floor and the seat so you will feel little bit like you're sitting a bit too low but it's not too bad. You've got some posh airplane style pockets on the seat backs cool little USB charging pots. Now lets discuss about the boot so as standard you get an electrically operated tailgate and you and you have 520 litres.  You'll also get more storage in front boot so it has a capacity of 52 litres.

Range, Battery And Chraging

In the model, the Long Range RWD the range is 328 miles and the Wallnox charging times is 12hrs 30 mins (0-100%, 7.4 KW) and rapid charge time is about 18 mins. (10-80%, 233 KW). The model Long Range AWD range is 314 miles, the wallbox charge time is 12 hrs 30 mins (0-100%,7.4 KW) and its rapid charge time is 18 mins (10-80%, 233KW). The another model Long Range GT estimated range is 252 mies, the wallbox charge time is 12hrs 30mins (0-100%, 7.4 KW) and the rapid charge time is 18mins (10-80%, 233 KW).

Is the Kia EV6 Safe?

Euro NACP hasn't crash-tested the EV6 yet however the safety equipment is included. There's plenty of safety kit fitted as standard to ensure you don't come with the grief in the first place, such as forward- collision avoidance, hill-start assistance, an intelligent speed limiter, lane-keeping assistance and lane-following assistance.
